Gigi Hadid’s Gown Is Almost as Striking as Those Adorable Shoes Peeking Out From Underneath
Gigi Hadid celebrated the 2019 Pirelli Calendar, on which she stars alongside Alexander Wang, at a red carpet event in Milan. Posing with famed fashion photographer Albert Watson and spinning around for the cameras, the supermodel looked elegant as ever. Gigi was working a Fall '18 Zac Posen gown with voluminous sleeves, a mermaid fit, and a forgiving neckline, so she could better show off her Chopard diamonds.
While the satin, midnight number swept the floor, we were still able to see Gigi's adorable bow heels peeking out from underneath the train - a surprising touch, and one you might not notice right off the bat. While we may not all have black tie events in the pipeline this holiday season, we can take a tip from Ms. Hadid and add some embellishment to our shoes. Read on to zoom in on Gigi's footwear, then shop some similar pairs, and finally, get an all-angles look at her appearance.
Here’s Where Melania Trump’s Stylist Shops For Her First Lady Wardrobe
Designer Hervé Pierre, who formerly worked at Oscar de la Renta and Carolina Herrera when he first arrived in New York, is now focused on projects of his own. Pierre talked to The New York Times about one of his most important tasks: dressing Melania Trump. It was his role to design her 2017 Inaugural gown, a sleek but statement-making number that set the tone for her future wardrobe.
While Hervé isn't behind every one of Melania's often controversial looks, he does maintain a routine when it comes to their collaboration. "I do a bit of styling with [Melania], but it's not really my forte. What interests me in this relationship is not just finding pretty clothes - a lot of people can do that. It's more about the legacy of this woman. Everybody has a different reaction to what she's wearing . . . If I have to go to D.C., I go, but if she's at the tower, it's not very far to walk. She doesn't need me all the time, so there are other things to do."
Hervé also revealed where he shops first when choosing a new ensemble: "My favorite place to shop - actually, there is none because each time it's a good experience. I go to Bergdorf, I go to Saks. Michael Kors, Dior. What is challenging is when I cannot say what it is for. I always ask: 'Was it already on the red carpet? Did somebody already wear it?' Because I don't want her to be on the 'Who Wore It Better' list."
Read on to find out a little more about Hervé's most iconic projects and what it's like to join forces with Melania before a very big event.

Why Penélope Cruz Was Destined to Play Donatella Versace
It was recently announced that Penélope Cruz will play Donatella Versace in the upcoming season of American Crime Story centered on the tragic death of Gianni Versace. Despite initial reports that Lady Gaga would play the late designer's beloved sister, this new casting announcement actually makes a lot of sense.
Why exactly? For over a decade now, Penélope has shown her love for the iconic Italian fashion brand at numerous red carpet appearances. She's worn Versace to the Academy Awards several times and was even wearing a gown from the brand to the Vanity Fair afterparty the year she won an award for Best Supporting Actress. So, while Lady Gaga has a closeness with Donatella, this decision is entirely random either.
Ahead, check out some of Penélope's many red carpet Versace looks.
